Captain Cuts is a songwriting and production trio consisting of Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon, and Ryan Rabin. Growing up together in Los Angeles, the trio began writing, producing and remixing in 2011. Since then, they have produced/written for artists such as Grouplove ("Tongue Tied" #1 US Billboard Alt Chart- Certified US Platinum, "Ways To Go"), Tove Lo ("Crave"), Walk The Moon ("Shut Up And Dance"), Smallpools ("Dreaming"), Jessica Mauboy ("To The End of The Earth" ARIA Certified Gold), Third D3gree ("Different Kind of Love"), Tegan & Sara ("Don't Find Another Love"), Marina And The Diamonds ("Lonely Hearts Club"), The Mowglis ("Clean Light") and more.
They are currently working on Smallpools' debut LP, Bella Thorne's upcoming LP, and various other projects.
In January 2014, they inked a JV label deal with Warner Bros. Records, establishing Cuts Records, with the goal of signing, developing and producing new artists.
